How Do You Clean the Shower Door Tracks

Unlike a walk-in shower cubicle, corner shower cubicles have sliding doors. The tracks of these doors are often the hardest part of the shower to clean, as soap scum and dirt easily build up there. Unfortunately, door tracks are also the most overlooked area when cleaning a shower enclosure.
Maintaining a Clean Shower Enclosure Drain
- Put on rubber gloves and remove the shower drain cap. Remove visible debris, such as hair. Use a drain snake or a thin wire coat hanger to reach further down the drain.
- Carefully insert the end of the drain snake into the drain. Twist gently as you push it downward so it can catch blockages.
- Slowly pull the snake back up, removing trapped debris. Put the waste in a bin to throw it away.
- Repeat the process if necessary until the drain is clear of blockages.
- Pour 1 tablespoon of baking soda into the drain, followed by some distilled white vinegar. The fizzing action helps remove any remaining debris.
- Wait 30–40 minutes, then flush the drain with half a bucket of hot water. Replace the drain cap.
